THE woman responsible for setting up a blacklist of thousands of workers sent a provocative tweet about her lying on a beach days before their compensation trial, blacklisted, workers highlighted yesterday.
Mary Kerr ran the Consulting Association company, which held a blacklist of the names of more than 3,000 construction workers, with her husband Ian.
Blacklist Support Group’s Dave Smith tweeted on April 5 that blacklisted workers will be taking on the construction companies, which added names to the list, in the High Court.
In response, Ms Kerr tweeted: “Lying in the sun on the whitest sand, beautiful music playing through headphones, cocktail in hand … smug look on face.”
The Consulting Association was shut down after being raided by Information Commission officers in 2009 for operating the illegal list.
