NATASHA HARDING grabbed a hat-trick and Alex Greenwood netted straight from a corner as Liverpool won 4-1 away against Sunderland in the Women’s Super League on Saturday.

Former Liverpool midfielder Lucy Staniforth cracked in from 25 yards to give Sunderland a 10th-minute lead, but Harding levelled just moments later.

England left-back Greenwood swung a corner straight into the Sunderland net to give Liverpool the lead for the first time in the 57th minute.

Harding struck again soon afterwards with a smart chip for a 3-1 cushion.

She completed a treble at Mariners Park for the 2013 and 2014 WSL champions with a low, drilled finish in the 87th minute.

Reading were 5-0 winners at Bristol City where England midfielder Fara Williams ran the first half, firing in a third-minute opener before playing her part in goals for Rachel Rowe and Remi Allen as the visitors led 3-0 inside 20 minutes.

Brooke Chaplen missed a penalty that would have made it 4-0 on the half-hour mark before Jade Moore and Rowe added further goals in the second half.
