Greece's parliament stripped six fascist MPs of their immunity from prosecution as part of the crackdown on far-right party Golden Dawn.
The government has accused Golden Dawn of acting like a criminal organisation following the murder of anti-fascist rapper Pavlos Fyssas.
The six neonazis walked out of parliament before the near-unanimous vote.
The party has denied any involvement in Mr Fyssas's death, despite the man arrested for the attack admitting to the stabbing and being a Golden Dawn member.
Witnesses said a mob dressed in the fascists' black-shirted livery had been involved.
Golden Dawn spokesman Ilias Kassidiaris said his party was the subject of a "disgusting conspiracy."
Since the fatal stabbing police have raided party offices and homes linked to Golden Dawn, uncovering homemade shields, knives, bats and some guns.
