ONE of Britain’s most multicultural cities will celebrate its diversity by holding a community event paying tribute to murdered Labour MP Jo Cox.
Anti-racist campaign group Hope Not Hate has brought together more than 30 organisations in Bradford, West Yorkshire, for the “More in Common” event on Saturday August 5.
Bradford celebrated the life of Ms Cox last year, who represented the nearby Batley and Spen constituency until she was fatally stabbed by far-right terrorist Thomas Mair in June 2016.
A Hope Not Hate spokesman said: “We want to celebrate Bradford. Communities across the district have come together to support this event.”
