Heavy snow and bitter cold across eastern Europe has killed 32 people since Friday.
The harsh weather has also cut power, blocked roads and shut schools.
Emergency shelters have been opened and officials urged people to stay indoors.
The Ukrainian government said 18 people had died of hypothermia in the past few days. Twelve of them were homeless.
And temperatures of -26°C in Poland have killed 10 people.
In central Serbia three elderly people have died and two more are missing, while in neighbouring Bulgaria a 57-year-old man froze to death in a north-western village.
Officials in Prague have said they'll set up tents for the city's 3,000 homeless people.
