Get us a gold, Brad

Tuesday 31 July 2012

OLYMPICS: Tour de France winner Bradley Wiggins will be going for gold tomorrow when he rides in the Olympic time trial.

The Team GB cyclist will be looking to add to the three golds he won in Beijing and Athens when he takes on the relatively flat 44-km course which begins and ends at Hampton Court Palace.

Britain's Emma Pooley rides in the women's time trial tomorrow, while compatriot Lizzie Armitstead, who on Sunday claimed Britain's first medal of the Games with silver in the road race, is considered an outside bet for a podium finish.
