SCOTTISH FOOTBALL: Neil Lennon's men return to the bread and butter of SPL action after making it into the cream of European competition in midweek.
Hibernian - second in the table after four matches - visit Celtic Park for a clash on Saturday afternoon against the Scottish champions and leaders who've been drawn to face the might of Barcelona, Benfica and Spartak Moscow in the Champions League.
The draw, which was reward for a comprehensive 4-0 victory over Helsingborgs of Sweden in qualifying, will be seen by many as tough but reasonably kind, with the Catalan maestros overwhelming favourites.
The Celtic manager believes his side have a fair chance of progressing, having described a place in the top two of the section as "doable."
The main casualty of the win against the Swedes was captain Scott Brown who has been ruled out for around three weeks because of an ongoing hip problem.
He joins midfield counterparts Joe Ledley and Beram Kayal, as well as striker Anthony Stokes, on the sidelines.
Regardless of any last-minute deals in the transfer window, cover in the middle is likely to come from 19-year-old Czech Filip Twardzik, whom Lennon praised highly for his contribution against Inverness Caley last weekend.
The Hoops are also expected to be without Georgios Samaras and there are doubts over the fitness of defenders Charlie Mulgrew and Thomas Rogne.
Hibernian arrive in the East End of Glasgow just behind Celtic on goal difference but still smarting from their dismal defeat by Queen of the South at Dumfries in the League Cup, a result which their boss Pat Fenlon described as "disgusting."
Fenlon said he was expecting a "manic" deadline day so new recruits may well be added to the Hibees line-up. He also confirmed that captain James McPake will be restored to the starting XI, and Lewis Stevenson is close to full fitness.
