Fiorentina set to bill Dimitar Berbatov’s agent

Thursday 06 September 2012

FOOTBALL: Dimitar Berbatov’s agent may have to foot the bill for the forward’s failed summer move to Fiorentina.

The Viola were snubbed by Berbatov during the transfer window as the 31-year-old opted to join Fulham from Manchester United.

The Serie A outfit claim that they had paid for him and his agent Emil Dantchev to fly to Italy on transfer deadline day before being gazumped.

And Fiorentina sporting director Daniel Prade vowed to pursue Dantchev for all expenses incurred by the club.

“We will request to his agent the money we paid for their flight to come to Florence, 100 per cent,” he said.
