Greed, power, political corruption, prostitution and murder are at the centre of this taut urban thriller set in East London during the run up to the Olympics.
In it Parminder Nagra plays a Paris-based fashion executive who returns to Britain to prove her teenage brother’s innocence when he is charged with a fatal gang shooting.
Her quest she uncovers a deadly conspiracy which leads all the way to the heart of government.
This is a slick, well produced British crime drama which punches above its weight due in part to Nagra’s tenacious and compelling performance.
