Paranorman (PG)

From the makers of Coraline comes an even scarier and more gruesome tale about a young boy who sees dead people and is entrusted to save the town from a centuries-old curse.

Part ghost story, part zombie film with a hint of Salem witches thrown in, this is an imaginative and rather creepy stop-motion 3D animation.

The attention to small details certainly catch the eye and will keep adults entertained while the zombie invasion will frighten the pants out of the kids.

Be warned though, this might be a little too scary for younger children.
