Higher wages create jobs

I note in his criticism of Len McCluskey that Ed Miliband again raises the point that Labour prefers to focus on jobs rather than wage increases.

Ed Balls made the same point at the TUC.

It is time now for both men to move beyond the slogan and explain exactly how they believe holding down wages helps to sustain or create jobs.
