Cameron said nothing about drone strikes

Sunday 07 October 2012

For blatant hypocrisy David Cameron takes some beating.

He claimed at the UN that Russia and China are responsible for children dying in Syria and their blood will "leave a stain on their hands." Coming from a government which is assisting the terrorist groups that make up the Free Syrian Army and who are themselves complicit in appalling atrocities, perhaps hypocrisy is an understatement.

Cameron said nothing about hundreds of innocent people killed by the terror drones launched by his allies in the US.

According to a recent report from Stanford University, drone strikes in Pakistan killed between 2,562 and 3,325 people between June 2004 and September 2012. Just one in 50 was supposed to be a "targeted militant" and at least 176 of those killed were children.

The usual practice now is to fire more missiles after the first strike at those going to assist the victims. What barbarity! Who are the civilised?

Barack Obama and Cameron shed crocodile tears over Syria while engaging in slaughter of innocents themselves. thousands are living in trauma, through the terror and fear caused by these appalling weapons.

Thousands more have been severely injured and scarred for life - homes destroyed, children orphaned, loved ones blown to bits.

In Afghanistan where our troops are allegedly there to "protect us" the lie has been exposed. More British and Nato soldiers are being killed by those supposed to be "loyal" and traumatised soldiers are committing suicide.

Labour must press for a complete withdrawal of British troops from Afghanistan now and an end to the use of these terrorising drones from all British bases.
