Maths clearly not one of Cameron's strengths

Tuesday 16 October 2012

"Get a job and save for a flat," David Cameron said in his speech at the Conservative Party conference on October 10.

I cannot really believe I heard this but I did. Did you all hear it too?

Save from what? A minimum wage the lowest in Europe? An average wage the lowest in Europe? With a cost of living the highest in Europe?

And, is all this saving for flats after workers have paid back the money they have borrowed for their university education?

Is all this after they have bought £2,000-worth of shares in the company they work for, with no job security to secure a mortgage?

Is all this after the worker has paid their worker's company pension contributions at 10 per cent of their incomes?

And just how is anyone going to stay in work when no one has any money to buy anything that they're either making or selling?

The Prime Minister's speech raises serious concerns about the wisdom of sending children to private schools, for it would appear Mr Cameron does not have a grasp of basic maths.

I think we've all had enough of Tory Pvaarty politics.

When are you and your party going and can we help you pack?
