Tesco drivers in Doncaster have suspended two strike days after bosses said they'd make a new offer.
The supermarket is transferring the 180 jobs to freight firm Eddie Stobart.
Workers are worried that some of them will lose their jobs, so the Unite members voted to strike today and tomorrow.
But regional officer Harriet Eisner said the action had been called off before talks planned for tomorrow. The union hadn't ruled out further action, she said, but wanted to see what Eddie Stobart had in mind.
The drivers walked out for two days last week after the company issued them with 90 days' notice of termination of employment.
