We must not allow police to sideline us

Thursday 25 October 2012

The quasi-kettling at Saturday's march was almost as bad as last time.

Losing fellow Corbynites at Highbury I cheated, went straight to Hyde Park, heard six excellent speeches - and great free sounds from Musicians Unionites - while a huge part of the march crawled up from the Embankment, missing important messages.

Organisers were unlikely to believe the march would impress shopaholics fed other stuff, in this case Savilery, by the media. So who or what prevented the much better round-London feeds used in the big anti-Iraq-war march?

Deft news manipulation?
