If Chris Birch (M Star Oct 25) can "see a difference between Mitt Romney and Barack Obama" then perhaps he has not read that working-class literature classic the Ragged Trousered Philanthropists.
In it the hero describes two opposing candidates, shoved in front of the electorate, by the memorable words: "The only difference between them is that they're both the same."
It is a dilemma that our class still faces today.
Perhaps that subtlety escapes Chris.
And as for Leon Kuhn's cartoons, they are one of the many high spots in our paper. Keep up the excellent work.
