SNP is losing its radical veneer

When new Labour moved to the right, many of us south of the border felt sympathetic towards Alex Salmond and the SNP, especially when he was advocating more radical policies.
Sadly, the news that the SNP has dropped its opposition to Nato membership (M Star October 20) seems to indicate that Salmond has abandoned the left in order to appeal to the centre ground.
