Health and public service unions in Bristol are joining forces tomorrow to protest against plans to introduce regional pay
Under the banner "We are one NHS" they will stage a march and rally to oppose plans by 19 NHS trusts which make up the South West NHS Pay, Terms and Conditions Consortium which unions say is a cartel.
Taking part will be the GMB union, British Medical Association, British Dental Association, British Association of Occupational Therapists, Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, Hospital Consultants and Specialists Association, Royal College of Midwives, Society of Radiographers, Unison, Unite and other unions with members in the NHS.
The rally will call on the 19 trusts in the consortium to withdraw. Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals Trust has already pulled out of the cartel.
