Berlusconi ex gets €36m

EmailFormer prime minister Silvio Berlusconi has agreed to pay his ex-wife €36 million (£30m) a year as part of their divorce settlement.
Veronica Lario left the 76-year-old business tycoon after he was seen at the birthday party of an 18-year-old aspiring model, whom he showered with gifts.
Mr Berlusconi, whose personal wealth is estimated at nearly £4 billion, is currently challenging a four-year jail term for tax evasion and preparing to contest parliamentary election early next year.
