The ex-Hearts winger looks set to start at Annan Athletic in tomorrow’s lunchtime kick-off in the Scottish Third Division.
Rangers, who were held to a goalless draw at the venue in September, will want to put in a strong performance in order to consolidate their 15-point lead at the top of the table.
Templeton, who was hurt when his studs caught in the artificial grass, spent two and a half months on the sidelines, but said: “It’s one of those things I’ve just got to get over. Injuries happen in football and that is behind me now.”
He added: “My ankle feels great. I’ve not had any problems since I’ve come back and it is 100 per cent again. Fingers crossed it stays that way as I’m feeling confident just now.”
