Tory tells people not to donate

EmailA Tory councillor in York has sparked outrage after saying people should not donate to food banks as there is no real poverty in Britain.
Chris Steward said that donating to food banks would only allow them to spend the money on more alcohol and cigarettes.
He also said food banks were an insult to starving people around the world.
