A Christian convinced me

EmailIt would take up too much space on the letters page for me to reply adequately to Jim Dymond's simplistic letter (M Star January 9), which equates Christianity with the Church of England and the Church of Rome.
I will just say that it was a book by a Christian, Hewlett Johnson who was both Dean of Canterbury and a member of the Daily Worker management board, which convinced me of the evils of capitalism and persuaded me to join the Communist Party 65 years ago.
