EmailI was left wondering after your article (M Star January 7) comparing the differing approaches to the Falklands and Chagos Islands by successive British governments.
In view of the occupation of British sovereign territory in the Chagos Islands by a foreign power, namely the US, shouldn't a task force be sent to the Indian Ocean to evict the US invaders by military means?
After all it was what was done with the Falklands over 30 years ago, so what is the difference?
Other than the skin colour of the respective islanders, that is.
