Hospital axe plans given reprieve

Wednesday 16 January 2013

Campaigners fighting to save services a Manchester hospital won a temporary reprieve today.

Councillors have referred a decision to axe services at Trafford General Hospital to Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt.

NHS bosses want to axe Trafford's A&E unit and reduce intensive care and children's services.
