They have thrown a spanner into the works of the council's plans to demolish the 50-year-old treasure, to be replaced by an inferior one that doesn't cater for teenagers.
Although the council have tried their best to portray the protesters as unsavoury and disruptive, as far as I can see they know very well how to conduct themselves and are people of good conscience. It must be said that this is also a legal protest.
Wandsworth Council have been trying to offload our public services for some time now under the dubious label of austerity but this is just an excuse.
Health services, youth and one o' clock centres, libraries, school crossing patrols and now meals on wheels are all under threat.
You have to ask yourselves, what exactly do we get for our council tax?
With the council now taking legal action to try to remove this very necessary dissent, I urge everyone to back this campaign to save the adventure playground, support the occupiers, help to save our services and assist in showing up this despicable council for the heartless shambles that they are.
