Archie Macjoyce was born in East London in 1980 to a factory worker and a minicab driver, before studying English at UEA, where he began writing poetry. He has performed at the Edinburgh and Latitude festivals and is currently working on a spoken-word-based musical project called Norwich Face Transplant.
