Metro workers defiy Prime Minister

EmailAthens metro workers defied Conservative Prime Minister Antonis Samaras today as they refused to return to work despite a court decision declaring their protest illegal.
Staff walked out eight days ago in a stand against pay cuts imposed by Samaras's government, which says it is using a civil mobilisation measure to end the action.
