Gers coverage is not born of bias

As a Rangers fan, it is refreshing to read articles without such emotive language and factual inaccuracies such as "new club."

To digress, when a company is liquidated, its assets are sold to the highest bidder.

In this case the main asset of Rangers Football Club PLC was Rangers Football Club, which was bought by Charles Green's consortium - so the club hasn't changed, merely the parent company.

Slazenger is still Slazenger despite being owned by Sports Direct and Audi is still Audi, despite being owned by Volkswagen.

If you stop "reading and promoting [the] newspaper to friends" based on the coverage of a football club, then I wonder how much you really like the paper and your interest in socialist causes.

Put simply, sport is small fish, not forgetting that no-one forces you to read the articles.

Anyway, the Morning Star will survive, thrive and continue to promote socialist causes whether you support it or not.
