Thousands of people turned out in the rain today to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
A parade made its way from Trafalgar Square to Chinatown to welcome in the year of the snake.
Lawrence Cheng of the London Chinatown Chinese Association said: "Chinese New Year is the most important festival for the worldwide Chinese community.
"It is wonderful to witness the celebration of Chinese culture in London.
"This multicultural city sees the largest celebration of Chinese New Year outside Asia."
