Jobcentres 'coped well'

EmailJobcentres have coped well with huge increases in jobseekers, the National Audit Office (NAO) said yesterday.
The NAO said jobcentres had shown they could handle changes without major problems in performance or escalating costs.
PCS general secretary Mark Serwotka: "It shows the value of employment services being publicly run, in stark contrast to the failures of the privatised work programme."
