A British soldier killed by a gunshot on an Iraq airbase was "meticulous" about weapon safety, his father has told an inquest.
Lance Corporal David Wilson, 27, was found slumped over a desk in 2008 with a gunshot to his head after a drinking session with a friend.
But his father Ian Wilson told the court today that the story left him "confused.
"With regards to the army and weapons, my understanding was that he was meticulous," he said.
