US forces set to keep droning on

As according to a former official of the Clinton administration, the US military has a plan to invade Pakistan if the country's Islamic fundamentalists seize power in Islamabad.

The aim of that invasion would supposedly be to prevent Pakistan's nuclear weapons from falling into the hands of the Pakistani Taliban.

We must be on the watch for any possible extension of the war on terror, as a US attack on Pakistan could not only inflame the Muslim world further but it could give a fresh impetus to al-Qaida after the death of Bin Laden and thus increase the risk of terrorism.

Always expect the unexpected with the forces of imperialism, as this time last year no-one would have expected an attack on Libya.
