Well done on valuable M Star conference

EmailI want to congratulate the Morning Star for a fascinating and valuable Scottish conference this October.
The Winning Democracy for Scotland event gave voice to probably the most grown-up debate I have heard on the issue of constitutional change for Scotland.
The pro-independence debate can be too often marred by sentimentality, romanticism and at times outright fantasy - particularly in the hands of the ultra-left.
However, the conference's collection of MSPs, trade unionists and representatives of the working-class grass roots were solid in their arguments on both sides of the debate. That was refreshing and perhaps could only be done in the unifying name of the Morning Star.
