CP must lead charge after Graz victory

Tuesday 11 December 2012

"GRAZ shows communists can win across Europe" trumpets the headline over John Green's letter (M Star December 7).

John goes on to tell us that the Communist Party became the second largest party on the council after gaining 20 per cent of the vote.

Under the British electoral system, however, they would have gained only more despair.

And they would not have won more than 1 per cent of the vote in the first place as anti-Tories dare not waste their votes, as we see time and time again.

When will the CP lead the fight for electoral reform?
