Al-Aqaba disproves ammo claim

EmailSo the Israeli army claims it only uses live ammunition in extremely dangerous situations (M Star January 2).
That is not true.
Some years ago Israel took over the Palestinian village of al-Aqaba and used it for army training with live ammunition.
Over an extended period of time Israeli soldiers have wounded and killed about 60 innocent people. They have apologised, paid compensation, which was paltry by Western standards, and carried on.
Those who find this hard to believe can read about it in the book Extreme Rambling by Mark Thomas or Google al-Aqaba.
