Rangers hit with growing sick list

Friday 08 February 2013

Scottish football: Rangers could be without seven players including skipper Lee McCulloch for tomorrow's Third Division game against Queen's Park at Ibrox.

McCulloch (ankle) is a doubt, while Kal Naismith is suspended and Ross Perry still has the knock that forced him out of last week's defeat at Dundee United.

Francisco Sandaza, Lewis Macleod, Kevin Kyle and Darren Cole are also out.

Meanwhile the club vowed to "vigorously defend" any claim from Orlit after confirming they have been in dispute with the Singapore-based finance company.

Rangers said on Thursday night they had agreed a deal over an "insignificant" debt, in response to reports that Orlit could seek a winding-up petition over a £400,000 bill for services relating to Charles Green's purchase of Rangers.
