The story of the defiance and humanity of the Candaian hotelier George Riste has spread around the world from its provenances in Vancouver, British Columbia, and 45 of its most prominent storytellers are the free-improvising jazz musicians of the London Improvisers Orchestra (LIO), recounting his story in sound from their regular venue at the Red Rose along the Seven Sisters Road in north London.
