Aussie Palu ponders rugby code switch

Monday 15 March 2010

Rugby union: Australia back-row Wycliff Palu is willing to listen to offers to make a switch to rugby league, his manager has revealed.

The 27-year-old is out of contract with the Australian Rugby Union at the end of 2010 and while he is leaning towards taking up a new offer, he has indicated a contract with an Australian National Rugby League (NRL) club may interest him.

Palu has already tried his hand at rugby league when he played for NRL club St George Illawarra in 2004.
