Still hope for Brown yet?

Gordon Brown is a labour historian by profession and it is always interesting to see his various nods at labour history.

In this respect his intervention in the BA dispute has a touch of the Harold Wilson about it.

If he could see his way clear to finding a group of politically motivated union activists at the core of it, as Wilson did with the 1966 seamen's dispute, many of us in the labour movement would be privately rather encouraged.
