FOOTBALL: Fulham announced the signing of former Real Madrid midfielder Mahamadou Diarra on a free transfer today.
The 30-year-old, who once cost £22 million, has been without a club since leaving Monaco last summer and is hoping to resurrect his career in the Premier League.
If granted a visa he will join until the end of the season with the option of a one-year extension.
