Norwegians defied fascist terrorist Anders Breivik on Thursday by flocking to public squares and singing a song he hates.
They belted out a Norwegian version of Pete Seeger's Children of the Rainbow, which Mr Breivik claims has been used to brainwash children into supporting immigration.
In Oslo 40,000 people crammed into Youngstorget plaza to sing along with Norwegian artist Lillebjoern Nilsen.
They sang the Norwegian lyrics: "A sky full of stars, blue sea as far as you can see. An earth where flowers grow, can you wish for more? Together shall we live, every sister, brother. Young children of the rainbow, a fertile land."
It was shown live on television by public broadcaster NRK.
Mr Breivik is on trial for a bomb-and-shooting rampage that killed 77 people and admits that he planned and carried out the attacks.
He claimed last week that the song is an example of "cultural Marxism" in schools that had weakened Norwegian society.
The crowd later marched to the Oslo courthouse, where they laid a carpet of red and white roses on the steps and the fence.
