As someone in a private-sector final-salary pension scheme I am opted out of the state second pension.
I note that as result of changes announced by Pensions Minister Steve Webb I will now end up paying 1.4 per cent more tax.
I suspect I will wait in vain for the protests from the Taxpayers Alliance about this latest government stealth tax.
