ANGRY Liberal Democrat leader Charles Kennedy demanded an apology from Foreign Secretary Jack Straw yesterday for his claim that Lib Dem policies would have strengthened Saddam Hussein.

Mr Kennedy branded Mr Straw's comments a "scandalous" insult to the millions who opposed the war in Iraq.
