New web servers

REGULAR users of Morning Star Online will notice that we've made a few changes to your paper's site over the last week or so.
Many of these will be invisible as they involve technical changes designed to make www.morningstaronline.co.uk more powerful, flexible and secure.
At the end of November, we moved the entire website to a new server with lots of space for future expansion.
Some of the issues that users have raised in the past will now be solved - in particular, the annoying problem that saw users being logged out randomly when they were actually signed in.
The system that we use to put information onto the site has been redesigned, allowing us to spend more time on development.
We have also made an important change to the £1 payment option for the site.
In the past, £1 allowed access to only today's edition of the Morning Star.
Now, £1 will pay for access to today's edition, as well as a growing archive of past online stories, for a 24-hour period.
More additions and upgrades designed to improve the useablity of MS Online will be put in place over coming weeks.
Information on these will be available on this page as they happen.
