Medical and Scientific Aid for Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia has been highlighting this issue since 1965, when it was first set up by the late Joan McMichael.
Since then the organisation under the untiring and selfless stewardship of Dr Madeleine Sharp (a supporter and sometime correspondent of this paper) has given unstinting help and support to hospitals as well as scientific and medical aid to the people of those countries polluted by the US's criminal use of toxic defoliants.
Their work over many years, virutally ignored by the mainstream media, deserves wider publicity and support.
