Frankie Dettori to learn fate

Jockey to discover punishment for failed drugs test
Tuesday 04 December 2012

Racing: Jockey Frankie Dettori expects to learn tomorrow what his punishment will be for failing a drugs test in France in September.

France Galop concluded its inquiry into Dettori’s case today, with the rider’s legal team saying he had received “a sympathetic hearing.”

Dettori potentially faces a six-month ban, which could be reciprocated by racing jurisdictions worldwide.
