Bomb defused in east Belfast street

EmailA "viable" bomb was found under a police officer's car in east Belfast today.
The road was closed and some houses evacuated as army bomb disposal officers defused the device.
SDLP policing spokesman Connall McDevitt said the attack was a "cynical and deplorable act."
