Five reasons to be happy about Bush's re-election

THERE are five reasons why we should be happy that Bush has been re-elected.

• We can still type "miserable failure" into Google and be directed straight to George W Bush's biography on the official White House website.

• The US still has a president whose name is two V signs.

• Four more years of Jon Culshaw's Bush impressions on BBC2 sketch show Dead Ringers

• More daft Bush promises such as "We cannot let terriers and rogue nations hold this nation hostile or hold our allies hostile."

• We can continue to watch the TV hit West Wing and imagine that actor Martin Sheen is really running things.
