Labour's betrayal on nuclear policy

Monday 15 March 2010

I thoroughly agree with Councillor Davies regarding Michael Foot (M Star March 7). Michael must have died feeling very disconsolate at the way the Labour Party has deteriorated under Blair and Brown's leadership regarding the nuclear issue.

If only, instead of pursuing the nuclear reactor installations planned and the Trident renewal, the resources could be used for saving our NHS. Then the Labour Party would be going some way towards getting the necessary votes they need in the forthcoming election.

Like so many people, I feel I cannot see my vote for Labour as I am so disillusioned with their policies, which are not likely to be changed in time for the poll.
