Funding not pay freeze

While I don't agree with pay freezes - something that never seems to hit bankers and bosses - it might take a bit to get me to the barricades to support someone who is paid over £100k a year, and numbers are.

If Gordon Brown's announcement on public-sector pay had talked of focusing funds on raising the low pay of many thousands of essential workers, it might well have got a better reception.
